ok today im starting a new training split. its going to be a 2 way split going like this day 1 chest, back , shoulders, 3 exercises for each bodypart with 1 working set to failure in each exercise.
day 2 legs, arms, abs.
my question is would it be better for recovery to take the split like this:
day 1
day 2
off
day1
day 2
off
off
repeat
or to go 4 days in a row and rest 3 in a row?
obviously i dont want to over train and im not sure how much rest im going to need on this split.
