The owner of the gym where i train the majority of my clients asked me to put together something simple for her new focus group to follow. These people have next to no knowledge about training and nutrition. I just threw together a simple checklist for people to follow step by step:
1. Eliminate refined sugar from diet
2. Eat at least 1 gram of protein per lb of lean mass
3. Eliminate white bread, pasta, rice, potatoes
4. Eat at least 3 servings of vegetables daily
5. Eliminate all fried, frozen, and heavily processed foods
6. Eat 2 servings of healthy fats daily.
I'm just looking for a little input about what to add, take away, reorder. I'm trying to keep this as simple and effective as possible.
