Hey guys,

I recently had to cut my time in the mornings for food prep by about an hour. No more, dilly dallying around in the mornings wearing my slippers and hugh heffner robe staring in the fridge wondering if anything will magically cook itself for me.

I need something that is substantial and full of protein. I can't do a shake because I am hungry an hour later. It was one thing when I had time to cook something different everyday but I can't do that anymore.

What are some ideas for a big boy breakfast that dont take up much time.

I eta 3 bison burguers. It takes a total of 12 min (6 min each side) using a hot skillet and a touch of olive oil.

as I finish eating it the skillet is cold enough to be washed and I can load the dish washer.

In about 30 min or less I have my breakfast and a clean kitchen.

When i am not in the mood for that I get a flax tortilla warm it up in a skillet, In another I prepare 2 eggs with oregano, salt and pepper.

I spread a teaspoon of organic salsa, 1 spoon of cottage cheese and a bit of mustard, trow the eggs on top and roll.

Great healthy wrap in no time and tasty!

Bro..all you need is oatmeal,water,whey protein,peanut butter and a blender.Blend those together and you have a complete meal right there.The fat from the peanut butter should keep you going a while without being hungry..
 
Those bison burgers sound good. Im going to try that, thank you.

I know the shakes are a complete meal but during the winter my appetite is much greater than in the summer. I can get away with a shake in the summer, but even with oatmeal and peanut butter, I have stomach pains an hour later.

I need to take advantage of the offseason because my appetite goes away come spring and summer down here in south florida.
 
I cant stand eating in the morning for some reason so what ive been doing lately with good luck is having 16oz ff milk, 2tbsp lbas and 20g cfm whey. With that i'll down 2tbsp evoo and chase it with the shake and have a banana. 50g protien, 50g carbs 28g fat. Whats weird is that a lot of clean healthy cals but im super hungry about an hour later and sometimes i'll have the same thing again.
 
Try this, very delicious: 2 cups of oatmeal, 4 tbl. of chocolate LBA's, 1/2 cup of blueberries.
 
This is what I do…

I cook a big pot of black beans for the week and freeze 1/2 for mid week. For breakfast I put a cup of beans on a plate, microwave 30 seconds to heat. Scrambling a few eggs with added egg whites takes no time at all. Very satisfying. Add some fresh fruit or a spoon of guacamole on the side

I eat pancakes!
1 cup oatmeal
2 eggwhites
chocolate protien powder
diced apple
water
mix it until it has the consistancy of a pancake
cook it just like a pancake.
it takes 6 min total to make and tasts awesome.
 
2 cans of tuna (preferably in olive oil or in water)
handful of arugula (or any other green salad)
can of cottage cheese or other young cheese...
onion (if not going to work :) )
handful of cherry tomatoes
olive oil
dash of lemon juice

mix up and enjoy...Alex
