New Rocky movie coming out

I will probably get flamed for this one..LOL
But just can't help it. I loved all the Rocky flicks. Finally the Rocky VI movie will be at theatres on December 20. I knew something was up because they have been running all day Rocky marathons on FX, TNT, etc. Saw the movie promo last night.
I know it's hilarious, but sometimes I watch scenes from Rocky to motivate myself for the gym. The hardcore atmosphere he trains in (especially in Rocky 4 in Russia) and always being the underdog gets me physched up.

Stallone is a pretty interesting guy.

He wrote the first Rocky when he was dead broke and living in some crummy apartment somewhere. He was offered something like $300,000+ for the script, but refused to sell it because he wanted to star in the movie.

I'm probably not getting all the details right here, but he held out, and got to do the movie - the rest of his career has been just a spectacular.

It must take balls of steel and one hell of a lot of belief in yuorself to turn down that kind of money (in the 70's no less when $300K was worth a LOT more than it is now!) to achieve your dream. Yuo gotta' admire that!

There is a guy that I work with that has been playing all the music from the Rockys early in the morning. Kind of funny. I think I will wait for it to come out of the theaters to see it.

I like most all of Stallone's movies but I think he has taken the rocky story to far. The guy must be in his 60s by now. Its like Arnold going up against Coleman and winning....not going to happen. He's just out to make a buck with this movie. It will be on DvD before the end of January. LOL

4 has always been the most motivating for me so im not gonna flame ya. It may not be my favorite, but for sure its the most inspirational for me. Plus you gotta love the way Ivan takes his shot in the shoulder without a smirk or quiver of any kind. Thats inspirational in its own way LOL.

He was in philly on monday night for the eagles game last week, and last month he was also there, over by the art museum area promoting the picture. While in philly filming he was one of the coolest guys signing so many autographs I know he went home with his hands tired! haha He was a real down to earth guy!

Rocky is what motivated me to train when i was 8yrs old. I still
train to this day. All i can say is YO Rock Thanks! lol

Yep thats right John J Rambo will be back at it and saving the world once again , cant wait to cheer my ass off in the theatre when that comes out , should be better then Rocky10.
