Wanted to say hello to everyone as this is my first post on this board.

I'm not new to steroids at all but I have been out for probably over a year now. For now let's say my last cycle was cut off prematurely. After I quit, personal things(not drugs or anything like hat) around me prevented me from being able to do it again and I pretty much shut down. My diet fell apart, I stopped working out, and I sunk into a deep hole until about the past couple weeks.

I'm not really sure what my bodyfat is anymore. I'm 5'10' 205lbs. It seems that fat only collects around my midsection now. My arms, shoulders, and back are very lean still and easily have visible veins(though not the jacked veins). When I went off suddenly and took a fall, i started gaining around my midsection so fast that stretch marks started appearing over time. Meanwhile, the rest of my upper body is still in fairly lean shape.

I've gotten things straightened out again and ready to hit this full force. What's the best way to diet in order to really start getting the weight around my midsection off while getting back into the shape I used to be? Any routines in the gym that would really benefit? Also, what is an ideal weight to be? I was thinking that dropping 20lbs would be pretty good and then working on putting more muscle than fat on.

Thanks for the help. I've been reading on the forums for awhile. Used to be on anabolex but just happened upon this place.

* Keep your head up and let go of stuff thats not important. Set your goals for yourself. I have found that writing them down is a powerfull long term motivator no matter what they are. Positive goals keep you positive while your working towards them.

* Gaining fat that fast after going off cycle has me wondering what PCT you used, if any?

* You should feel good that the trouble is behind you and you are starting in the right direction now. Definetly first get your diet under control. Chart your intake and break it down to protein, carbs, fat, ect. The biggest step now is getting your ass into the gym everyday. For most that is the hardest part. Once there focus on the goals you have rather than where you are. It doesn't matter where you start, build your cardio everyday always gaining at least mentally. IMO start the weights now too at safe levels to stretch you muscles and increase metabolic rate. I can't tell you an ideal weight nor can anyone other than you. I can tell you that if you drop 20lbs and are 6', 185lbs then you haven't maxed your natural potential and shouldn't need AAS to make steady solid gains with the right diet. I can't stress enough that DIET is the largest part of gains.

* Stick around this place there is a ton of good information. You have a while to go before needing to start any AAS, IMO. Even if your goal is to get to the top of your game and be ready to push it farther by supplementing with AAS that goal will get you to the top and you will know what to do when you get there. Good Luck.

get ur diet rolllin good bro. low low low carbs if any and work out normal and do some good cardio. ull lose the spare tire around ur mid section. take dedication tho

Thanks for responses. I hadn't planned on doing any AAS for awhile. I started them way too young and though I gained quite a bit, it was probably stupid and I could have made better gains.

My main thing is whether for now, the 5-6 meals a day thing is as important as just making sure my calories are kept low. Obviously, during my crash phase I was eating out all the time and probably in the 3-4000 calorie range with little clean food. I've now tried to cut it down to around 1000-1500 of clean food. Lots of chicken, fish, whole grains, veggies. It's hard to get in 5-6 meals now but when I do eat, I try to pack in lots of protein.

And for workouts. Should I focus on power exercises to get back in the groove or will anything help? I always favored the 1 a day workout(1 bodypart per day) because I felt I could dedicate my full that way but I've heard differing opinions.

I'm starting out with 20 minutes of cardio and will gradually be working my way up each week.

What I've found so far is that the people here are respectful of those that ask good honest questions and provide the same respect. I also like that IP is given such respect here. The man is pure class and has never given me anything but the best. Always adds more to order than I pay for.

Hello hitithard, the reason for the gut fat is estrogen. Fat in this area is heavily influenced by estrogen. Go to your doctor and have a good blood workup. I think if they look at your levels you will find your test is low. may be in what they call the normal range but on the low side of normal. What is your age? you may be a candidate for HRT. When you stoped all aas your test was shut down. Your estrogen levels will have elevated. This is why the fat packed on around the gut. it is common among those that stop training as well as discontinue aas. Get on to your doctor to correct this. Train hard and eat a good solid diet for a while. You will bounce back! Welcome to PROMUSCLE!
