Thanks bro. I am presently trying hard to shed more fat. Since my last bulking cycle I have lost 23 lbs. My best estimates show that it is mostly fat; But I feel I'm loosing my chest thickness during this phase. My strength has dropped 25% in my chest but not in any other muscular groups. I have got to look into this more closely to understand why and how to avoid this. :confused:

hey hoss...nice transformation.

I've went from a size 40 to a size 34...let's just say I'm in an almost identical situation as you...:)

Keep up the great work...I definitely see contest material within one year.
 
Crusader, what's your chest routine like?
 
Chest routine

MDRThom my chest routine varies from week to week and depends on wether I am bulking or dieting. I am doing the latter now. My routine is something like this:

Warm-up of dips...strict form 3 sets

Incline dumbbell presses (using decline bench but placing the head high). I like this angle for the upper chest. The next week I will go back to reg. incline presses:
Warm-up 1 set for 15 reps
4 primary sets increasing the weight.

Stretch

Flat bench press:
3 sets with increasing weight.

Stretch

Decline bench:
2 standard sets
2 variant sets
I like these because I do some variants such as close grip press arching off the lower sternum, ultra wide grip with the bar being slowly lowered to the upper sternum for maximum pec. stretch.

Stretch

As a finisher I would do one of these for 3 sets:
Cable flys
Butterfly press
Incline dumbbell flys
and my favorite...a super set or med. weight dumbbell press on the flat bench. Dropping them after failure and quickly picking up a light set of weights for a set of flys to failure. Take it slowly and enjoy the stretch.

I do other variations such as a superset of Flat bench press, immediately followed by decline presses followed immediately with incline dumbbell flys. Try it. Its a killer. Don't emphasize weight. Stress the form and reaching higher reps.

I try to keep the routine chest workout as less routine as possible but while adhering to the principals of growth responses. Total time 35-45 min.

Don't know what q.d. is abbreviation for?!?

Standard acronymns for boards are:
ED - every day
EOD - every other day
2x/wk - no standard here - b.i.w. makes no sense

Not trying to harp on you Crusader, just want you to provide info that doen't leave everyone wondering or guessing :D

weeks 3-12, (starting with 6 IU and daily raising it to 12 IU) taken only after a workout and first thing in the morning prior to a evening workout.

Clomid:
weeks 4-10, 50mg q.d.
weeks 11-13, 100mg q.d.
weeks 14-16, 50mg q.d.

hCG:
weeks 13-16, 2000 IU b.i.w. (twice weekly)

Arimidex:
weeks 1-18, 1mg q.d.

Bromocriptine:
weeks 1-3, 1 tab daily
weeks 4-12, 2 tabs daily
weeks 13-16, 1 tab daily

Began cutting fat on weeks 13 to present

I am not promising or promoting the benefits of or the use of any of these drugs.

12 dbol tabs /day sounds like a liver killer for me! :D
I ever use winstrol instead dbol. Here win is easy and cheap to come by.

No problem Crusader. Like I said - I'm not trying to give you a hard time about it.

"var" is anavar. I like it in a cutting cycle but many use it in bulk cycle as it can really increase strength.

I only got the anavar off a friend who found himself in need of quick cash. Of course I got it at a discount. I wanted to try it as a "bridge" from my cycle to the approximate time when my own natural testosterone production is back to near normal. It's based on the same theroy as using d-bol (10mg) as a bridge between cycles. It worked well keeping my strength levels from falling too fast and maintaining my muscle gains.
 
That's also a good use of var! I also do the d-bol bridge (same as you described) as they cost next to nothing :D
