I'd imagine the course would be a little easier for the guys/dept with bmw bikes... regardless, cops must be prepared with constant training like that for a few reasons.... their dealing with the general public, most of the general public are retards, most pedestrians dont know where there walking to or cant walk in a straight line (unless they live in major metro populated areas, anybody living in a metro area like NY, SF, etc where there is subways and other mass public transportation, those people dont even need to own cars and walk everywhere so know where their going), and when it comes to avg driver holy hell are they just shitty is easiest way to put in, so the risks involved for a cop on a bike are pretty high having to just deal with that on a simple patrol cruise now add in factors of having to be in a pursuit with those same risks and your level of exposure on the bike... you have to lay it down cuz of a pedestrian or get hit by a shitty driver not paying attn and your practically toast...
