More accountability. Weight up to 198 / 11-12% BF on this slight bulk, lost a bit of ab definition, but sticking with the slight caloric surplus until Mid April, then a cut and reassess. Lifts have been improving overall, feeling stronger, chest starting to come in, tightening that loose skin a bit. Started using preworkout Var to see how I feel and react to it, as well as seeing what changes in my bloodwork. IMG_0933.jpeg

May try adding Masteron for a few weeks as we get closer to summer to start slimming down

I thought masteron was a solid choice since it is relatively easy on sides (given bloodwork and proper dosage/ monitoring and adjustment ), even on TRT test levels? Remember, not a competitor or looking for huge gains, just some extra muscle and leanness.

So I *think* the answer here is, will continue training hard at a slight caloric surplus until I get a little too fat for my liking, (12% bf or so), do a small deficit to back down to 9-10% then do it again. Rinse, repeat.

Regardless of amount of test or whatever, I think that’s the answer that makes me happy.

Accountability. I work for a large construction materials company, and after a month and a half here, clearly I’m the most jacked dude in Corporate 😁 at least so far.

All bets are off in our field office locations, though- there’s some huge dudes there. They’re bigger than me, so obviously they’re all on gear. 🤷‍♂️🙄😁 IMG_1018.jpeg
 
Still grinding. My next decision is what to do about my chest- don’t have gyno, but loose skin from extreme weight loss- so do I try to just grow my pecs into it or just remove it surgically?

The best local surgeon quoted $7.5k for that as well as a quick skin reduction on my flanks (same thing, loose skin in lower back from weight loss).

We’ll see, I don’t have that kinda scratch lying around for vanity’s sake…

Update, changing training approach to follow the Jordan Peters 1 working set max, full body EOD programming approach. Hopefully I can bust through some plateaus.

Still around 198#, 10% body fat- and lifts have been improving, but dealing with a bit too much volume/fatigue- ergo the approach change.

Contrary to what others here say, if you want to add 100primo/mast/low dose var. You will DEFINITELY feel it. You're doubling your weekly androgen load. I'm much younger than you but i'm after low, slow, dense gains. No puff. Not trying to get HUGE.

I would lean toward 100 primo/mast, since they are gentler on bloods. But you MUST do bloods after 4 weeks of primo to check your e2. You don't want to crash your e2 at your age, have some HCG on hand maybe.

100 primo cut my e2 in half and I like mine at the top of the reference range because I don't get e2 sides. Your mileage may vary.

Peace and I hope to be still killing it at the gym when i'm your age.

PS. I like vigorous steve and think he's a great source of information on how to do it right and risk reduce (50mg/day anavar sounds dumb as fuck to me). Kurt Havens also has one kidney and has a GH prescription because of it somehow...might be worth sending him a message to pick his brain to see which add ons are kidney-safe.
 
Accountability posts, week 1 of new training programming. Need to bring even more aggression to the gym to really make this work I think. Interestingly, sleeping better with less joint soreness- I was probably overdoing things with junk volume, plus not deloading as often as I should have.

Somehow retaining weight around 198# but vascularity seems better, lifts still progressing . Not bad for 5’8” 10-11% bf, at 53. IMG_1431.jpeg IMG_1430.jpeg
 
Accountability post. Starting week 2 of the Jordan Peters whole body 1 set to failure protocol. So far so good, joints feel a bit better than the higher volume routine I IMG_1468.jpeg IMG_1467.jpeg was doing before. Really liking the vascularity that’s developing.
