So how did Arnold and all the old school guys not get acne on there back and chest from the use of AAS?

I dont think its that the pros never got it back then. I think its because the people you mention never got it. I never really got it when I cycled, no matter what I used or how much. It differs from one person to the next. SOme have bad trouble and some dont, just like some do and some dont just being natural. Some guys go bald taking AAS, and others like me dont lose a single hair on their head no matter what we take.

I rarely get acne, no matter what I'm doing. (at least not more than a few here and there) If you a correct that they never got acne, then maybe they were just people that never got it. Of coarse your looking a video and pictures, so your not going to see many imperfections, because i'm sure they would have put it off until they looked better.

Acne is typically rooted in hormone fluctuations. If you maintain a steady dose of hormones, theoretically you should not have any issues once your body adjusts. For me, I have less acne on cycle than off at this point. I've always had issues with acne too.

That's what I was thinking. I've never seen an older guy get this. I know I never really get it no matter what I take or how much. I get a zit here, it will go away, another one will pop up there, etc..I never get it heavy though.

I find that the only time I get acne is the beginning or end of a cycle, or when I add a new compound to a cycle-anytime hormone levels start to fluctuate a lot. Even then it's never too bad. I think a lot of people's acne issues can be dealt with through anti e's, more frequent showering, and keeping AAS blood levels stable. It seems it's always the inexperienced guys that end up with their shoulders and back covered in acne.

I was at Blizzard Beach (waterpark in Orlando) and saw a 40-45 yr old with some of the worst back acne I'd ever seen. It was very apparent he was on gear. Like you guys have said, it's person to person

As was stated everyone is different, I never got acne and still don't. But the gym which I train at a guy had severe acne chest and back well actually they looked like boils.

I have an enhanced client that's 38 and he gets very bad acne on his back.

Dosages were also much lower back then, and you also have to realize how much time those "Venice Beach" guys spent in the sun.

I know that when i get acne, if i start getting some sun on a regular basis, the acne dries out. Those guys would hit the gym and then hit the beach to tan and play, so im sure that probably helped.

salt water and sun just about every day would help a lot, also I used to get it when I first started and was using mexican stuff.
