I was listening to an Andrew Huberman podcast with Dr. Rhonda Patrick, and she's a huge fan of Omega-3 consumption (through food or supplementation). She said a value of 8% or greater means reduced likelihood of cardio vascular disease. She also said there's a "plasma" version that is a reflection of what your omega 3 intake has been over the last few days but that there's another "blood" version that indicates how much Omega 3 that you've consumed over the last 120 days.
Who has had their Omega 3 index measured; which test did you get (plasma or blood); and were the results consistent with what you would have thought regarding your diet and/or supplementation?
