OT: HCG in the NFL

I find it amazing that the NFL busted a Rookie for using HCG today. And not cause they busted him but because it means a lot more then just using HCG.

And yet they would never admit if someone is using HCG, they are for sure using AAS. I know this a unground known fact that if you ask a 300lb guy to run into another 300lb 40 times in one game and then ask them to do it again in a week you are going to need something to recover.
There are billons of $$ at stake if the NFL ever really went after a true drug testing program, but they would not want to find out what is under the covers.
I would have to think that there is more places like Balco that help with masking what they are doing. FYI I have no problem with what someone wants to do, I just have to laugh at the sheep that think they are all clean running 4.4 40's at 290lbs!

On ESPN the radio this morning they were talking about this.. Its crazy they want to revote for the rookie of the year.. People were calling in qand saying its a wash because if someone on defense is taking something someone on offense is too.. He was just caught.. Apparantly the guy was caught in september and played the rest of the season.. There is a parts per million test done for the NFL if im not mistaken right?? Its not a test positive and your done scenario like MLB.. Someone please correct me if im wrong.. But i think the whole thing is crazy.. If sterooids were totally out of sports the fan base would dwindle..

People in this country have delusional and inconsistent ideas about sport. I worked with an older guy who was otherwise very intelligent, and he had a real jones for betting on baseball. He told me with a straight face onetime; ''back in the 80s, nobody used this garbage, that's why Ben Johnson got nailed''. Its lost on people for some reason that PED has been in sports since decades before they were alive. I've also never put together why people think its OK that gambling interests keep pro sports afloat, but that drug supplementation harms the ''purity'' and ''integrity'' of the game.

The American public thinks pro sports is like high school, and nobody uses drugs except for one or two guys I guess.

I have a friend who is fond of saying "Ants are fun to watch, but they pay to watch the elephants play!" That statement holds many truths.. Drugs have always been there they just have evolved.. Have you ever seen babe ruth run around those bases?? SPEED....

I am sure there are drugs that can not be tested for or there will be soon. The athlete is always looking for an advantage and who can blame him when millions of dollars are at stake?

Yup, back at BC he was a man child. Rumors were circling well before he arrived in Pasadena that he was "enhanced." All I know is the guy was one of the most dominating players to ever step on the field as a high school athlete, juice or not, the guy is a freak athlete.

Simply put, nearly every pro athlete does something to enhance their performance...some modified drug that passes tests or SOMETHING.
It is their JOB to perform physically, and if they do not recover quickly, jump higher, run faster, hit harder/farther, etc then someone else gets the job and they have MILLION$ at stake...who WOULDN'T take whatever it took to WIN??

All the fans/people that BASH them for doing so would NOT enjoy the sports they "love" from their couch nearly as much if not for enhanced players! They sit on their fat asses and stuff their face with chips and drink a ton of beer...while these guys have trained their entire LIFE to be the best of the best and in order to continue to perform at a super elite level game after game year after year YES they take things that Mr Couch Potato and the uneducated unaware general public may frown upon...but who the hell are they to judge? Played some ball when you were 17??! Good for you! You have NO clue what it is like at the pro level bud...have another beer and a bag of fkn chips and enjoy the game and what these amazing athletes have built! If it is such a problem what they MUST do to keep up (because ALL the others do) then change the channel and watch The Food Network and enjoy!
