Love his work...I am pretty sure he leads a very healthy lifestyle...just shows that nothing should be taken for granted. I hope he is in the 2-3% that lives 5 years...so sad.

It's sad. seems to happen to all the good guys. He's been married
to the same women for years and you never hear bad things about
him. But he does smoke.

I watched part of the interview with Barbara Walters last night and it certainly was tear-jerking. it was odd for me to see him in that condition since i used to just melt over him in "dirty dancing" when i was a young! lol!

He definitely is one of hollywood's good guys and he's very admirable.

one of my best friends recently had to go through this with her dad...after battling it for a little over one year, he passed away a few months ago.

It's definitely not something i would wish on even my worst enemy!

Girlfriend and I spent the weekend at the Mountain Lake Hotel
where they filmed that movie. It's near Blacksburg Virginia. Very
secluded and beautiful place. The lake in the back ground has a fault
line going through it and during certain dry seasons the water level will
drop down to the size of a puddle.

With the short time he has left, no point quitting. why deal with the withdrawl from smoking when you only have months or weeks to live.

way too much money for the pharm industry to lose not to mention the multi-millons in lost research grants. cancer is huge profits...so no cure will be seen.

What REALLY pisses me off is the amount of supps out there that have been proven to kill cancer cells yet do not get taken forward. Green Tea, Pome Extract etc - another thing that I find totally unacceptable is Oncologist not educating cancer patients and telling them to STOP eating carbs - it has been proved time and time again that Cancer cells need carbs to grow - eliminate / cut simple sugars and carbs and the growth slows down. Obv I am not saying this will cure everyone - but every little bit helps when fighting this beast of a illness

it's all sad, very sad. Ive had relatives succumb to this and if there are ANY treatments out there not being researched to the fullest it is absolute BULLSH*T.
