Sounds like you had a bad PT so did it yourself. Probably would be better to get a quality PT and follow their advice. If you go to fast you risk reinjury and may need a second surgery.PT is important, but really you can do it yourself. I did do regular PT with a therapist for my pec (Didn't for my bicep), but I did way more than she wanted. I was bench pressing a broom handle in like 3-4 weeks (this was almost 10 years ago now) and she had a fit about that but the protocols are made for 60-70 year old people. To my eye my pec still looks like shit, but it also almost tore in 3 when it went so I don't know how much I should have expected.
There aren't many that have an iota of clue when it comes to dealing with people that bodybuild or powerlift. They're given the standard rubrick for a given injury and that is written for 60-70+ year olds. I've found many people in MANY disciplines don't really think, they just move about like mindless drones.Sounds like you had a bad PT so did it yourself. Agreed but there’s way way way more clueless PTs than good.Sounds like you had a bad PT so did it yourself. Probably would be better to get a quality PT and follow their advice. If you go to fast you risk reinjury and may need a second surgery.
Agreed. But in any large city there should be some good ones, mine work only with athletes.Agreed but there’s way way way more clueless PTs than good.
Great to hear thank youHad a shoulder surgery 2 years ago, BPC 157 and TB500 did wonders!!!!
had both shoulders surgered, exactly the same surgery, first one with no peptides, begun workout 3 months post surgery with very light weight.....
with peptides in the mix, 3 weeks I was back at the gym with lights weights.
first surgery lost a lot of muscle mass, second one no muscle mass lost and recovery was so fast and healed quickly!!!!!
wish you a speed and complete recovery too!!!!
Great to hear thank you this is what I’m hoping for learn from. How did you start stour recovery process at 3 weeks ie wjatdos you begin moving?
do you mind sharing your dosages with meYou"re welcome, I start my recover process 3 days after surgery, I move very slowly my arm, and one week after I could lift my arm with no pain on the lateral side, one week after I could move my arm close to complete and normal moves, I saw the surgeon 3 weeks post surgery He disdn t believe what he saw. he said what did you do??? Of course I didn t tell him. during the healing process, I felt some scrithching in my shoulder like when it heals it was permanent. doses was high with peptides and did my own protocol, when I injected I felt hypo like when you use slin, I was forced to eat if not I did bad hypo, first time was the worst and then I knew so I ate 2 min after injection, I did injections every 3 days (high dose) and a total of 6 injections, so it lasted 15 days.
if I didn t lived it I felt it was like miraculous or impossible, but it was what I lived and peptides SHOULD BE ALLOWED AND PRESCRIBED AFTER SURGERY you earn a precious time and well being!!!!
Incision looks good , hematoma seems a lil big never seen that. Supps sound good I’d make sure my omega 3s are high and 1000 mg of C 3x dailygoing on 15 Days post surgery. Dropped all pain killers after 2 days. While the area is healing quickly The ar
Would shoulder / pec has become a large hematoma which is hard to deal with/look at. Doctor confirms it’s common with this surgery, but did not make me Aware before hand so whose to say. Right now daily G2iu/Bpc200x2/knox2x
BiweeklyTB/cyp200mg/deca100Ast week started light on legs & treadmill. Keeping 1.5 grams protein per body weight.
I woukd try light massage around the edges, try to increase blood flow, that should help get it down3 weeks post surgery and muscle great Improvement this week able to hang arm for long periods, do rexistence exercises in pool , raise to shoulder height. Hematoma is not getting better. Anyone with advice would be helpful?
I am no expert. Did both the doctor who did the surgery and physical therapist say the hematoma is normal? I don't know how your insurance is, maybe get a third opinion? Maybe others can chime in if they ever had this.3 weeks post surgery and muscle great Improvement this week able to hang arm for long periods, do rexistence exercises in pool , raise to shoulder height. Agreed a second opinion early and before it calcifies or gets infected but until then light massage at the edges.I am no expert. I did have a knee injury where my kneecap hit a sharp surface and it was called a contusion for many months a hard golf ball sized lump was right on the cap. After I went against my general doc and PT advice and basically said "sorry there shouldn't be a golf ball on my knee where I cant bend it for months on end may I get an MRI" they did, it was a hematoma but had hardened over time so could not be drained when I finally saw a specialist. Imaging showed what it was. I had to get it surgically removed and when they did they saw some tears on the quad tendon so stitched those up too.
My situation was different as my hematoma was before surgery, but still something you may want to ask them about. Its soft or hardened? They haven't wanted to drain it? Definitely DO NOT TRY TO YOURSELF!
