I know this is off the subject but phil knows my situation its off BB but Im short saling my home with my ex. I no longer live there. However Im taking half of the home items. One set of furniture washer dryer, Kitchen table and my old bedroom TV, and of course my tools. She gets the plasma, etertainment bose surround sound, brand new furniture set. All bedroom set. All my stepsons furniture etc..... Now my ex is making me feel guilty about taking these items but I dont have money to replace these items. Her parents have already bought her a place, fully furnished etc.... I dont have the luxury of that. Then my stepson who i love very much is very upset at me. I just want to finalize all these things and move on. At the same time i need these items to live once I find a place. Am I wrong for this????? What the heck do i do?

1. Your step son is your ex wifes biological son correct?
2. He is mad at you because you need your things? Or is he acting upset and blaming that when he is really mad at his mother for ruining the relationship?
3. Your love for your stepson will trump his being upset at you taking your tools.....they have a furnished place.....you do not
4. Take your stuff happily, no guilt, you deserve them and you deserve to be happy.....I will be thinking good things for you as you should also........

It ain't like that, it was just a friendly jab since you were specifically asking for just Phil's advice.. Nothing to do with the situation you're in, which hopefully you're able to easily resolve..

And yea, I realize I'm almost at 1000 posts and I don't like it, with all this "Kilo Klub" talk lately.. I was just wondering how the hell I had so many, and looked in my profile, and I have an average of like 5.2 posts a day.. Doesn't seem that crazy, it's just that I'm on here daily.. But I don't want to hit the 1000 mark.. If a mod had the capability, I'd wanna go back down to 100..

hey man u probably deserve more than that! but you being the "man" are taking only whats needed. If she has anything to do with making you feel guilty than I recomend you taking the split between u and her as a blessing and take everything you are entitled to, now seeing how she really feels. Someone that supposedly loves or loved you and has the resources she has, and DOES NOT try to have YOU take more for yourself is obviously out with a vengeance and you need to look out for you!!! good luck
