I was looking through an old musclemag and it had 2 recipe's that you supposedly like.

1)1 c. oatmeal
2 c nonfat raw milk
1 sliced banana
1 sliced apple
1 handful raisins
2 tbsp blackstrap molasses

2)3 c. raw nonfat milk
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tsp. peanut butter
1 squirt (hehe!) vanilla extract
pinch nutmeg
sweetner and ice cubes

Just curious. From what you've posted about your diet, I thought the 2nd recipe sounded like something you'd suggest but not the 1st.

Not that this is "Eye-Opening" nutrition tips, just trying to find out all your "SECRETS"? LOL.

Phil do you remember that one receipe that was some kind of pasta with bragg's liquid amino on it? (protein pasta I think?)

When you ate a lot of carbs to bulk did you have a problem with water retention?

Well

I really responded well to carbs when I was younger. I was always able to get hard by slowly exchanging carbs with protein the closer to a show I got. You really cant make good growth gains eating tuna salad all day. You need calories to grow, and that window is not a big one, so go for it when you can.

How many calories were you taking in during the off-season?

from the looks of phil in the mags he must of been taking in atleast 2000+ calories or more... he was a beast..haha

i remember reading in my very first ever magazine that i bought, was the old muscular development from probably 94-95 i was 12 or 13 years old.. it had an article from phil in there about his diet where he beat out craig titus.. said that you only ate shrimp with olive oil i believe.. or something like that.. heck it was 8 years ago..haha
