Plant vs Whey Protein

Wow huge difference since ive switched from whey. No more bloat no more feeling like crap. Plant is the way to go. Feel so much better and def more lean muscle imo. Animal protein in powders is a scam imo. No more... Im using Health Warrior Vanilla Superfood Protein Powder & Probiotic stuff is really good.

I wanted to check it out because I also feel massively bloated after whey protein shakes (actually most protein shakes) even when I add digestive enzymes.

1) I thought plant proteins or not as bioavailable, and by a significant margin of like 25-30% on average?

2) I also thought that probiotics need to be live organisms and if not refrigerated and handled properly they are essentially useless (as they are dead)?

What whey protein are we talking about. The cheaper stuff with plenty of carbs fats and lactose. Or whey that is just about pure protein.

I dont think you can make the argument plant protein is as good as whey. You can get close with a good full plant protein but absorption and leucine content will never be as good.

Some of the better plant based proteins add leucine.

I switched to plant based for a while and felt much, much better. The results almost made me feel like I was not absorbing protein from whey properly which could be the case for anyone feeling bloated or getting an upset stomach.

I haven’t used Whey in 3+ years and will not go back to Whey. I never felt good on it.

Been using plant based- Plant Fusion. Vanilla and chocolate. Regardless, both taste great and mix well.

Absolutely no discomfort after use.

there is a few 'shelf stable' types. You just got to be mindful how many CFU they are putting in there. I dont think anything less than 10-15 billion CFU would provide much benefit (maybe it does, i am no expert). I think alot of companies just fairy dust products.
