Someone please tell me if I'm blowing smoke - maybe someone that's an admin at aanother site.

I don't know how deep our buddy kuwait_spy could get into the database - my concern is with passwords. I would suggest that at least all mods (and everyone else just to be safe) change their password to this board. If you use this same password to log onto other boards, you may want to consider changing or making them all the same as new one. This would be more of a privacy issue for members. For mods, it would seem like if he had access to our accounts, he could cause some problems still for us.

The reason I say this is tied to K_S taking over IronMikes account prior to shutting the baord down the last time.

Good Idea

Nothing I hate more then a sneaky person or a Spy!
Last year owner of a board I was ASKED to be a mod on Started sneaking thru my Pm`s. I hate a sneaky person!

The exploit that Kuwait whatthefuck was using in VB 2 gave him access to the admin forum. All he would have to do then is pull up an admin like Mike and change his password. Now that exploit does not exist in VB3, but it is a good idea to have different passwords at different boards. If you want I can tell you how to make it where admin accounts can not be changed at all......pm me if you want to know how.

yea I may have made a big deal about it
But it was 100% shitty of him to pull that imo.
I was booted off 3 boards for speaking my Mind and telling
what a shitbag he was but I would do the same thing over again.
Youd be surprised At how many board owners think this is an Ok thing to Do!
Thats why I stay now with the boards-guys I know and trust for years now..
Or if I do wonder the boards, I expect them to be read.(pm`s)

No board owner should read others pm's, just all there is too it. I disable the functions as soon as I install a VB version.
