Protan, Dreamtan #1, Hot Suff and AMP...

Protan, Dreamtan #1, Hot Stuff and AMP...

I am pretty fair skinned so i was thinking 3-4 coats of Protan on thursday and friday before the show. then an hour before the prejudging 10mL AMP and 1 coat of Dreamtan #1 along with a light coating of Hotstuff patted on (not rubbed on) by my g/f so it doesnt cause the Dreamtan to streak.

Few questions should i have gotten Dreamtan #2 instead of #1, i was told after i already had it judges hate the #1 and prefer the #2?

Also is there even a need for Hotstuff since i already have AMP?

Since you're not very tan, what you've outlined should work fine. If you have a good tan base, 1-2 coats Protan should be enough.

Getting dark naturally with being outside and the tanner is just really hard, not that im ghostly white just have a hard time getting REALLY dark which is what i want.

Anyways thanks again and ill post up pics when from the show when i get em.

can you mix dream tan and pro tan ? i meen in the some bowl lets say and stirr it up, i would love to see how that works , has anyone tried this?

I would avoid Dreamtan. It's frowned on by the judges & creates such a bizarre color in photography that many photographers won't even photograph the Dreamtan competitors.

It paints the competitor so dark, he's at a disadvantage. Peaks can't lighten. I've heard many local-level competitors say they found the perfect formula that includes Dreamtan, but they generally don't end up working. You'll see very little of Dreamtan at the upper national-level or in the pro-circuit. You'll mostly see it in regional shows or overseas.

Some promoters are now banning the product from certain areas of the venue because it permanently stains walls & furnishings.

im by far the pailest national bb in the country LOL.......... anyway i start my protan on tues before a show!! i used to us dream tan #2 but i have made the switch to protans new bronzer it is the BEST............ trash the dream tan it is the most hit miss tan ..... my photo is above in the banner here and it has dream tan but last year yikes it just didnt work! at the night show i switched to the new bronzer and look out was a totally different person on stage........ if you like you can email or pm for tan suggestions

I like protan followed by dream tan on the day of the show.
I don't like Hotstuff as it makes me itchy. Plus as you said, no need for it when you use the AMP.
