The advantage of DNP is that I can cut bodyfat faster and retain more muscle, than I would by reducing calories and increasing output.
That's the aim and generally yes it could be true but there is nothing stopping you retaining all muscle with no dnp and simply reducing calories and increasing output. DNP will get you there faster but it has other uses. Your diet, output and cycle (if any) will have more effect on how much muscle you retain regardless of dnp. I would always still recommend cardio (and increasing output) regardless of drug usage. Although with everything in the mix you have to be extra careful not overdoing things because it will increase the chances of losing muscle simply because your output (calories burnt) is much greater. Try not to overcomplicate things and if you ever use dnp just make sure your protein is high. But sure someone could be following a good protocol and nearly there and just adding 1 dnp into the mix could be enough to get them where they need to be without doing anything else but diet and training always comes first.
