recall on bison?

earlier today before my girlfriend came over i asked her to stop at shop rite and grab me some bison and chicken..the guy working there pulled her aside and told her there was a huge recall on it and it was yanked from grocery stores..the guy asked her if i had eaten it within the last month(which i have go figure with my luck)..anyways has anyone else heard about this or know anymore information supposidly it was possibly life threatening...anyone?
