I don’t think Cbum did, I had so many guests in and out, but for the Arnold I had to work for my Sponsors booth all weekend, so idk who all came in honestly. I did have a ton of strongmen and powerlifters come through the most.
Most out of town people stay downtown and go to The Pros gym. It’s easiest but gets insanely crowded.

That’s a really broad question man. What’s it like to be a car owner? Home owner? Try asking it in a more simplistic way like:

“What is the biggest advantage to owning a gym as a current competitor?”

oh shoot sorry man. It’s not bad, it has its moments for sure. I will say, I think most gym owners do it out of love and not to become super rich. I don’t have staff and I man everything myself so it becomes overwhelming pretty quickly, but I love bodybuilding, helping others, so in the end, I think it’s well worth it man.
Biggest peeve of mine is of course people that don’t re rack their damn weights or those who are always late on their membership dues.

Yeah we all miss Meadows. John was a true blessing. When I got into bodybuilding and started competing, I started working with a local trainer here Mike Davies, and wayy back in early mid 2000s we all used to train together sometimes. It was John, this other big ass guy who’s a retired pro Brian Yersky, Frank Thomas and myself. As a 18/19 year old, I feared those guys😂😂 especially leg days.
Welcome Steve. We actually met at Mike's gym back in August/September of 2019, I was down for the weekend to train with Mike. You were still chasing you card back then I believe.

Yeah I was at that point. Took me a few years lol. I still go up and train with Mike occasionally. Known that guy for decades lol. Plus, that’s just a great bodybuilding gym.

What do you use for prep? Also off season.
Hey brother. I stick to the basics. It’s been different dosage wise with each prep. Some more, some less.

Basic off-season I always run a test(cyp), and usually Nandrolone. A little GH, and sometimes a 4 week spurt of Humalog preworkout.

My last few contest preps have been completely different. A few I ran always a test base, with masteron, Tren, Anavar, Clen(low dose, 40mcg)

Other prep I did same but no Tren, added GH, added T3.

Now that I’m 40, my TRT phase of 10-12 weeks is always 180mg test cyp weekly from Doctor, Arimidex 1mg EOD, 4 units GH before bed.
 
Man…forgot I started this thread when I got back on here back in the summer,ha. Just saw a few of ya left reply’s and I’m sorry for slow response, I’ve been usually on another thread I started last fall about my show prep, and recovering from Tricep surgery I had back in August. Hope everyone is kicking ass in the gym this winter and Arnold is coming up soon!
If anyone is planning on attending, please let me know, my Gym’s located about 10 minutes westbound of the expo in Columbus. My gym is called Metro Fitness, and our owners were partial owners of the Arnold(Lorimer family), so I guess you could say that we’ve always been the official Gym of the Arnold lol. We’re about 20,000 sq ft of nothing but Hammer strength, Cybex, Precor, and tons of dumbbells and racks.
If anybody’s interested in catching a workout while in town, lmk.

Also, I noticed on this thread. I’ve only posted some pictures last year when I was in the middle of contest prep, currently in the middle of my off-season and I’m sitting at about 270 pounds. Not bad considering I had full construction surgery on my tricep about five months ago. Still have issues but life‘s a bitch gotta move on.

Thanks for sharing. I have been training 30 years and in my early years was competing too over 15 years. My trt 125mg/wk no AI needed. I also help others and share my knowledge. Over the years have help other compete and do well. Can I ask are you sold on the low test high anabolic cycles. Like nothing over 300mg/wk of test? My take is I see better results with higher test cycles with E2 management. Only time low test maybe closer to a show.

Everyone is different in this area. During prep, I will run test at moderate, say 750, then down to 500mg wk at 8 weeks out, then down to 250wk split into 2 shots weekly up until show. As I do this, my mast and tren(if running)will go up to about 50mg of each daily. Var is 50mg daily, Clen maybe 40-60mcg daily, GH is always about 4-6iu before bed, then halo last 21 days.
I’ve never been prone to gyno, only thing I do get is bad headaches if I run my test over 1000mg a wk or even running EQ at all. So I don’t even F with EQ. I’ve had my doc do labs while on just 200mg wk of EQ and labs were solid but damn, it just gives me bad hangover feeling headaches.

Your weight is coming up and even after that nasty tri-cep tear and surgery??? Friking thick as hell at 270 and still gaining. Great off season for you even with the injury. Just wait til the A Bombs land at your doorstep... Anadrol 50 in the off season...Cant wait to see the gains from that run bro. Keep up with your progress pics your lookin awesome and the Tampa Pro this year will see you at "what weight on stage"?
