RESPECT TO IOWA'S OWN PRO BB

Just wanted to give a shoot out to Iowa's own pro bodybuilder (I think we have had like 3 or 4 guys turn pro in the last 20-30 years)...Rod Ketchen's..Rod turn pro in 1995 and this year kinda made a comeback to the pro stage, after being gone for a couple of years...He normally competes around 215-220 (turn pro as a lightheavy) but this time try his hand at the 202 and under...I remember meeting him the first time when I was a young buck at 17, and thinking how thick and huge he is...He is a great guy, always willing to talk bodybuilding or just joke around..One of the nices guys you could ever meet...

Here he is at this weekends Tamp Bay Pro in the 202 and under

I think at this point in his career (he's in his around 41-42 or so now) he competes for fun...

chris this is in no way a put down to him so please dont take it that way, but did he win his pro card with the build he has now in his legs? They just dont seem to have the hamstring development needed to compete at the pro level. Again im just asking no harm intended.

Haha did you watch that posing routine? That was hilariously good. He had a awesome back but looked bloated as hell in the stomach for whatever reason.

I like that look for him better..Fuller look, more roundness

another example of a guy trying to lose too much size to fit into a division that is not made for his body.. rod needs to go back to the fuller , bigger look.. dont get me started on the 202 class...

He finished in 6th place...Not to bad for his first time out...

but I perfer the fuller Rod

met him when I was in Iowa... I think Mike Francois was also born in Iowa??... Is that it... I thought their was at least one more out there who was a pro??
