As a diehard Redskins fan, all I can seem to think about is never being able to see him play again. But when I step back I feel greedy for being upset about that and just pray for his family.

Last week someone broke into his house and left a butcher knife on his bed. Someone wanted him dead. Everyone says he hung with the wrong crown and got into trouble, but if you ever heard him speak he seemed like a sincere, humble, nice person. It sucks to see such a gifted athlete die from some senseless fucking shit.

I remember him having quite a few issues off the field.... Not saying they are in any way linked to the robbery but it is just a thought.

Anyhow, this person was a great player, of course you have to be to make it to the NFL, but he was a stand out. My prayers are going out to his girl friend and his daughter, and the rest of his family.

As a die hard UM fan. I loved the way He played the game. After he turned pro, I'd watch Redskins games just to watch him. What a shame to die at such a young age.

I went to UM and graduated the same year Sean left. He definately hung out with some shady characters back then, but I'd heard he began to turn things around after he had a kid. Very sad indeed.

There are a whole bunch of facts here that just don't add up! But no child should ever be without a father or mother. No matter what your father did on or off the field. A child deserves both parents in his or her life. Prayers go out to that little girl. The mother that will now have to raise her without her biological father around.

This is just speculation on my part but I have a feeling it is related to his college days at Miami where he got in a fight at a club and used the butt of a gun to beat the living shit out of a guy.

Similar to the defensive lineman from Miami I think last year or the year before who was shot and killed.

people are assuming a lot with all the comments about what he did/who he associated with, you probably didn't know this man beyond what you read about him, which is often sensationalized. all accounts are that he has cleaned up his life as of late. Even this situation took place in his own bedroom while he was sleeping with his girlfriend and daughter. I am sure the whole story will come out in time

Yes he played for miami which most miami players are always given a bad rep, and yes he was in a altercation about two years ago, but it is obvious that he has made a change from hearing what the people around him have said.
