I met Sergio Sr. back in 1981 and I was very impressed with his size. He was a true pro and very willing to answer questions. He inspired me to go further, than I thought I could. Best of luck to his son.

He doesnt really, he said he's starting to come around now that he has done a couple of shows and his mom supports him alot.

A friend of mine just got to meet Lee Haney through his boss. He asked if his son was going to compete. Supposedly Lee told him that he had no interest in bodybuilding. Don't know if it is true (respectfully to Lee) due to it not being heard directly from him. He said his son didn't like the idea of being on stage in posing trunks. I hope my friend was wrong due to wasting great genetics(in bodybuilding) !

My guess is these guy's realize how extreme things are these days in the bodybuilding world and how many measures must be taken to be on top. Lets face it, bodybuilding now is much more expensive than back then. I'm sure Lee Haney and Sergio Oliva realize there are other way's to be even more successful
