Get your lean strips/breasts for the day and a big sauteeing pan, and make Coq a Vin, chicken in wine. The calories and alcohol in the wine cook off while it's simmering. Brown the chicken first, cover it with fresh oregano, then add one cup of red or white wine, your choice, lots of finely chopped shallots, fresh garlic diced or pushed out through one of those dicers, and mushrooms. Takes about 20 minutes to simmer and cook through all the way and it tastes like a fancy dinner in a nice French restaurant but super low in calories! I also do that with beef, beef bourbignon. So yum.

Easter holiday?

Hopefully , my personal owner can give me goodies on that day. We can't wait!

Thanks for this good article

CEV,
Also add sliced tomatos and onion. It will spice it up for you and add flavor. Don't forget the dash of olive oil as well.

Oooo, yeah that does sound good, forgot about the olive oil I def use that. Tomatoes would be great. I like shallots instead of onions though. Although onions are good too. But it really does taste like a "gourmet" meal without the calories.

You can also sub shrimp and scallops in there for a change of pace. ;)

Don't like shrimp for some reason, I guess it's the way you can see their digestive systems and their poopy/waste in them, or maybe just that they have stalks for eyes LOL but scallops, hell yeah that would be a great change of pace.
When it's time for me to cut I'll go back to lots of fish, fish really rips me up well. I get sick of just Tilapia though.
