site injections with insulin pins?

I was told to do site injections in my shoulder spreading it out between the medial delt, rear ,and front. And to do these with insulin pins. will that go into the muscle? Has anyone ever doen these before? Thanks alot in advance

u should rather use a 1' pin instead, so u go deep enough into the muscle ....

5'6 200lbs

Im only 5'6 195-200lbs but lean. so im no mass monster. do you think 1' pins in the front and rear delts would be overkill? again thanx alot. I tried my front and medial delt with the slin pins putting a 1/2 cc of prop in the front and 1/2 cc of deca in the medial delt. So far it doesnt feel any different than any other injection but besides my front delts i have never hit them before, so they are sore, but doesnt feel infected and i believe it went in the muscle. I do my medial delts often but i use 25gauge 1' and go straight in the side with the slin pin i was told to go straight down? any help advice would be greatly appreciated. Im not a novice been running gear and competing for 3 years but i still have much to learn!!! Thanx again

I use slin pins and I think they work great for oil based shots. The needle is 5/8" and I am about 10% fat. Use it in bi's, tri's, delts, whatever.

25g x 1" is too deep and painful for me. Especially when doing them myself.

Only takes about 30 seconds or maybe 1 minute to do a full 1ml shot thru a slin pin so its not too bad. What the hell is the rush anyway? got the swat team banging down your front door? lol

now if u guys had prescriptions like the rest of us....

depends on what volume u inject
with slin pins I sometimes have lump not with 1'
and I'm also 10% bf

but anyway even with a slin chances are u'll be safe with delts/bi's/tri's

Slin pins are fine to use for site injections as long as your at a low enough bodyfat %. I have been using them for years. Oils are no problem either they go through in fairly quick. quicker then a full 3cc syringe with a 22g pin.

I can't believe you guys are able to pull and push seo through a slin needle, i get impatient pulling my gear through a 21 gauge....
