Took my ambien last night and decided to go get pizza. I almost fell out of my chair twice waiting for it. Good thing I wasn't driving.

Ambian will zonk you, that's for sure.

Ambien gives me a monster buzz for 30 mins before I zonk out. I always sleep well after taking it but find myself wide awake after only 5 hours of sleep.

Most people have parasites at one point in their life, but not necessarily hyperinfections. It's atypical to have a hyperinfection and no symptoms, but as far as statistics that are accurate - if you pulled 100 people off the street for example, I'd bet 20-30 of them have giardia cysts in their gut. not to mention worms, yeast overgrowth, etc which is likely causing a lot of the superficial GI symptoms that people's doctors just treat with acid meds and IBS meds, etc.

I just got prescribed trazadone. I knocks me out in about 30 minutes and I sleep great

I have never had serious enough sleep issues to be on any prescribed medication, but musclepharm makes a product called bulletproof that you take 30 mins before bed and it knocks me the f out! It has melatonin in it as well as some other supps, but I would recommend it strongly.

I've seen pramipexole mentioned in this and other threads for help getting to sleep. I've looked at the drug profile for this and read some firsthand user accounts from here and elsewhere, and this stuff solidly scares the shit out of me. At first I thought it might be a nice adjunct therapy or, at the very least, something to cycle in and out occasionally, but holy shit...amplifies impulsive behavier, causes anxiety in some (I've already got this in spades and am being medicated for it at any rate) subsequent anhedonism and possible parkinson's like symptoms upon cessation...plus, just like any drug that works to trigger dopamine, it looks like it requires more and more of the stuff to work over time!!!
