Smell and taste issues.

My wife just had it and somehow myself and my two daughters did not get it. She moved down into the basement and stayed away from us most of the time for 5 days. She was barely sick. Just mild cold symptoms the first 3 days and then it was pretty much gone. We are all immunized. I just cant believe that the rest of us avoided it, because she had symptoms 3 days before we found out she had it and was just living life like normal in the house. We slept in the same bed etc. Since it was so mild, it must have been omicron. Her sense of taste wasnt affected at all.

I have the first Covid variant in March of 2020. Wife did not catch it. Had no idea I was sick. She had been in close contact with me for a whole week and never got it. There are still things we don't about this virus. I have my theory but no proof obviously. Since mine was so mild, I wonder if my immune system was able to handle it enough that it wasn't able to be transmitted. Just my theory. Could be totally wrong.

It's really weird how that happens in a lot of families. It's supposed to be so communicable too, especially omicron.

I lost about 80% of my taste and smell for a few months(Cov Nov-20), regained to roughly 80% normal then(feb-ish -21). It took 11 months(oct-21) to get to where I am at now, some meat still has a slightly weird secondary taste, some veggies and old coffee smells rancid.

My wife caught it in March 2020 for 3 weeks. She had double pneumonia and fever that lasted 2 weeks. I slept next to her in bed and never caught it.
But, when she caught it I took Trump's cocktail (hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin).

Here we're all vaccinated now. No masks much. But my daughter did test positive (school "close-contact") but was asymptomatic. My other daughter was coughing a lung up and was negative. FML

They don't ask you shit except where to mail it to. If it was on par with a flu, I could see. But It's not and we all know it's not. I refuse to take risks with my babies. Takes a couple seconds. It won't track your brain or some shit.

For me, I have a houseful so I have to do this shit. Man, two different school buildings, you name it. We're picking someone up or dropping someone off at something without end.
