What was the woke reading on knees between reps of deadlifts...was that sort of cluster reps or done to ensure each rep was truly done with zero momentum. That board pies thing looks pretty interesting

Well not really, but in reality, it could be the same thing...good observation. What I am trying to do is simply take out the last 2 inches of range of motion at the bottom. That bar is called a shoulder saver bar, and it makes you stop short. A log bar has a neutral grip which is pretty cool too....anyways, I like to use the shoulder saver bar on occasion...normally I just cut the range of motion short, but this bar allows you to rest pause and use other techniques..

We had done higher reps earlier, actually this was the last exercise of the day after doing probably 20-25 sets of back...and was just trying to get more reps with a heavy weight, by resting...instead of doing them all at once.
