I was doing my Costco run and noticed dry roasted edamame "soy beans" in a large container next to the raw almonds that I typically buy. I was pleasantly surprised that not only do they taste pretty good, I'm getting 14g of protein and 8g of fiber with only a 1/4 cup serving. The only drawback that I can see is that they dry your mouth out BAD - so much so that you need to drink while you eat them.
Has anyone else tried these? I've never been a fan of soy, but they seem like a decent buy at 29 oz for only 6 bucks.
