Squatting Frequecy

I follow westside which as you all know has an ME and DE squat day. I was talking to a bunch of people on different boards and in real life and alot of them suggested that I squat only once a week. I could see how that would work since I would get a full week's recovery for my legs, as is I feel like my legs are not getting enough rest which may contribute to missed PR's. But on the other had, I would be squatting more with the DE day which would improve my form and technique plus I get the benefits of speed work too. What do you think I should do

I think with the two day approach my CNS would be stimulated with a variety of stimuli which would prevent its fatigue. But on the other hand can it be overstimulated? Would it be understimulated with the one day approach?

Just remember

On your speed days, you have to try to work only on SPEED. Using too much wt on this day could very well cut into your recovery time.
Also your volume has to be low enough to allow for adequate recovery of the CNS. If you just can't get out of a rut (with the wts you use or the soreness you feel) then you are in an overtrained state. You may have to add a day or two in between the leg days to allow recovery.
The amount of drugs can dictate your recovery too. Most of these guys are using huge amounts.
