I know that DC training uses statics at the end of sets to increase intensity, as well as a few other programs that do the same thing.. Anyone ever done JUST statics, as their main work set? Personally, I think the idea sounds ridiculous. But yesterday, I was watching this guy lift. He was doing a full body workout, with just statics. First Chest, Then back, then legs, then shoulders, tris, back. bis. something like that anyway. He was built rather well.. about 5'9 @ around 225 i believe is what he told me, and pretty lean, id guess around 7-9% bodyfat. I asked him about his routine, and he says he trains 3x a week, full body routine, doing only static contractions. When i got home, i started looking up info on this. and i found this :
