Surgery Tomorrow / Drug interactions

So I went in for a check up on my ankle today. I've had a few surgeries over the last 7 weeks and this was just to get my sutures out. Well they take an X-ray and it looks like my ankle separated again. So they scheduled me for surgery tomorrow morning to have 2 screws permanently installed.

I have been on 40mg Tbol/ daily and 500mg Test cyp/ Week since March 14 which I started after my last surgery. My question is will the Tbol have any drug interactions with the anethesia? I took my 20mg this morning and stopped once I found out I need to have the surgery. I think it has a very short half life and my assumption would be that I should be ok. Just figured I would check since there are knowledgable people here.

Do a search on this...

you may find some info about it, I don't think I would worry about the tbol cuz you stopped it and I believe it has a short half life, but I thought I heard once that while juicing some people tend to bleed more.

I'm just getting 2 screws in my ankle so the bleeding shouldn't be terrible. Its not like I'm getting filleted open.....the incisions are 3/4" in length.

I don't think I would worry about it. Good luck cuz it's still gonna hurt. The last time I went to the hospital( I cut my hand pretty bad with a circular saw) they asked me if I had a preference for pain meds, well in my experience dilaudid works very well so I asked for it and they said ok, no problem. It is very strong and doesn't make me loopy.

My first surgery they gave me dialuadid and it didn't last very long. 15 minutes tops and they can only give it to you every 2 hours. Well, today they gave me general anethesia and when I woke up I was in severe pain and they gave me morphine. That definitely took the edge off!

They fixed my ankle with 2 screws which was a relief. My Dr. told me if he couldn't manipulate the ankle and screw it, he was going to have to open my ankle and fix everything through a very involved surgery. My rehab would have been months and months. Sooooo, I'm glad they fixed it with a couple of screws. I'll be on crutches and partial weight bearing for a week or 2.........then I should be ready to start the road to recovery.
