So I took this p/t job to supplement my income. I had to, my side business flopped and my regular job just isnt cutting it. Bills starting to stack up and all, kid on the way, need to take care of business and get things rolling smoothly again, outside of the gym this time. Anyways, its working in a warehouse loading boxes onto trucks. It pays very well for p/t work, and I found out there is a good reason for it. Your moving a million miles an hour all day long, with very few breaks if any. The real kick in the balls though, is lunch is not until 3:00 most days!!! Thats right, your working from 8:30- 3pm with no lunch. And your burning crazy cals. So I ended up taking the week off from the gym until I can get a paycheck and go get a couple boxes of protien bars or something to keep in my pockets, maybe sneak off to the bathroom and eat them or something. The real bitch of it is, if you go take a piss more than a few times/day people start thinking your screwing off or something. So drinking water up the ass is kind of out, I cant be pissing my brains out all day. Welcome to the South, no f' in labor laws really. I'm only going to do it 2-3 days/wk so I'm sort of thinking I could use this as cardio type stuff(trust me, my heart rate is up there), and limit my weights to 3x/wk and possibly get better results in the gym if I play my cards right. At least stay leaner anyways. Anybody ever dealt with designing a workout/diet routine around someones job (or type of job should I say) That is, maybe use the off days from that job as heavier eating days/carbs/weights, and the work days as your diet/cardio day?
