What does that mean when they say a muscle has "ruptured"?
ouch!....reading that made me cringewell......from what they told me
its when muscle tears from muscle
nothing they can do
but......they also said that these type of
injuries in most cases, depending on the severity
can actually re-grow so-to-speak

Definitely it will regrow if it is a muscle from muscle tear. I was involved in an fight back in 2006 and sustained a deep laceration to my left forearm from a knife.well......from what they told me

Just curious Tenny, what was the movement/poundages that caused the rupture? Sounds like you will have a complete recovery. Good Luck!!!
Nice poundage! :headbang:3rd rep 160lb
DB presses
I think you mentioned hearing a sound like a t-shirt tearing? I have had tears like that in both of my quads(vastus lateralis). Weird thing for me is that I had zero bleeding but terrible terrible pain so bad that I could barely walk. I think in my case that I just tore connective tissue and that you did actually tear the muscle. I think I tore the fascia that covers the muscle.
One of my tears happend right in the area I had been doing my injections. My theory is that perhaps the swelling I had from the injection helped cause the tear of the fascia. Were you by chance injecting in that area of your pecs?
