Neither will inherently make you hold more water...watch your diet and keep estrogen in check in order to keep the bloat down. This has been addressed hundreds of times on these forums.
Technically speaking, the ester only delays release into the blood stream. Once in the blood the ester is cleaved off immediately back to the basic testosterone for both C and E so I don't know how C could make you hold more water other than it being dose specific.
On the other hand, lots of people say esters affect people differently. I don't know how other than 750 of E versus 750 of C would release at slightly differing rates and maybe peak plasma levels at 8 weeks might be slightly higher with C. I don't know. I would think there would no noticeable difference in the two. The active lives are only days apart.
