Safe from Harm (the perfecto mix) from Massive Attack.
This tune is a redo of a song called 'Stratus' by Fusion
and the great drummer Billy Cobham. At least that is what
my ear tell me . . .
If this song does not get you going than you either deaf or
dead. This song, Safe from Harm was recorded by Massive
Attack, for the Michael Mann film, The Insider, which was
not, but should have been the best film of that year, and if
not the best was clearly the most important one sociologically.
It must be the “perfecto mix” for the film The Insider.
Every other version fails by comparison.
I have also thought that the first minute, where the songs
really builds, would make a great song for a bodybuilder to pose
to, if bodybuilders still pose to a song (my PC has no sound).
And I have also thought that for a stripper / erotic dancer, this
song, with the right performer, some professional choreography
and a great sound system would make her more money than
any other 10 songs she dances to combined. (Jason . . . if you
are reading this, you can thank me later )
