the notre dame bandwagon

coming from indiana i get sick and tired of all these frickin ND fans running their mouths off about how ND is back and how they are going for a national title run. ND beat a horrible pitt team and they got lucky vs. michigan. michigan had the ball 1st and goal twice and never scored (they fumbled on the one inch line). not only that but hart went out with hammy and 3 OL out with injury in the first quarter. even with that i actually picked ND to beat michigan cuz i thought they were overrated and unproven with a young QB/RB and they lost their entire secondary. i also picked them to win cuz that way when purdue spanks them in a few weeks it'll make it almost like they beat michigan too(since they dont play michigan or OSU). so enjoy it while u can but when purdue and usc pound them there wont b any more national title talk. dont get me wrong though ND is much improved and will only get better with weiss there. they'll keep it close with purdue and SC but will have 2 L's when its all said and done.

I am a huge ND fan,....but with the past few years, I am not going to say a word...they have a pattern of shitting the bed at the end of the season...and with the toughest schedule in the nation and 8 games left...I would not be saying shit.

MICH STATE is tough...best of luck to them.

no no...u got it all wrong..the media is the one making all the hype about it all...we true nd fans are not the ones making the rockne comparisons or the national title assumptions. the coaching staff is a HUGE improvement from last years staff, and this year's team is better than last..but thats all that can be said about that for now. but that aside...notre dame rules....go irish...and don't ever go bashin notre dame again or i just will have to bash your face..

didn't Ty Willingham start 8-0? Well, where is he now? Weiss won't go the route of Willingham, but, Notre Dame IS college football to many in the country, fans and media included; so any glimmer of hope will be blown out of proportion.

Barnett, a kid from my high school, Brian Hare, is a receiver with Purdue, have you seen or heard anything about him? I'm curious if he'll be a big contributor this year.

dont know about your buddy but purdue has all their starters back on defense and pretty much everybody back on offense except for orton. i actually think kirsch can be a better college QB than orton because of his abiltiy to run. i think purdue is gonna win the big ten with their schedule the way it is.

hercules-no ND follower will ever touch this face lol btw its these "ND fans" who never even attended notre dame that are the worst when it comes to running their mouths. i can see if someone went there or even had a friend that went there that they would be a loyal fan but its not the case most of the time. they are kind of like indiana basketball fans.

The same thing I tell my wife bro! When Purdue plays ND in my house, I get the big screen and she goes down stairs. We won't even watch the game together (because I liked to rub it in when my Boilers kick those drunk Micks asses!)

yeah i know the kind you are talking about man...believe me.....national championship aspirations are not even a thought on any coaches or player's mind yet..and they shouldn't be on any fan's either...let's worry about getting through the nation's toughest schedule first.
