This is a good exercise for the upper traps...

Seated dumbell shrugs. I used to do these 3 sets, reps of 14,12,10 (increasing the weight each set). I got good results in my upper traps from these.

I read in an interview with him, that this is Jay Cutler's favorite exercise for the upper traps.
 
i love those as well also if you know what the cambered bar is i think thats what its called got 2 90 degree bends in it same weight as a barbell i sit on the end of a bench and put it behind my calves and shurg to the bottom of the bench those to varieties kill my traps.
