For the guys who think everyone is on steroids .. genetics

Yes, good genetics. Future athletes
 
Yep genetics are basically EVERYTHING in this game. Realized this when I was around 25 ish that no matter how much gear I take, how consistent I am, I will never look as good as someone who is natural and has great genetics. You either have it to you don't. I always thought to myself maybe after I do xx steroid or xx routine, etc etc. Never missed days off, never strived away from dieting always ate necessary macros but just was never even close to some of the others. It's unfortunate but that's just the cards I was dealt. Genetics apply to many things in life same thing with intelligence, there's things you can do to help but I'll never be Musk, Hawking, Chomsky etc... Artistically, Musically, etc as well some people just naturally have it....

Genetics are everything in our sport/hobby. Just like in academics... if you are just not blessed with an high enough IQ, you're not going to become a phd researcher in a cutting edge STEM field.

I see that young boy becoming a well paid athlete instead though, like b-boy said, not really a bodybuilder. Like NFL (really big money, not peanuts money that is in bodybuilding, haha)

I do have shitty genetic
Everything I got because for 365 days in a year everything is calculated. I am also not a big mofo- part of genetic - feels like shit when getting heavy. But i am still trying to progress keeping health in mind.
 
Impressive. That said, having better muscular development at this age is not necessarily an indicator that the kid will have a higher muscular ceiling compared somebody else; there's starting physique, body fat, response to training, response to gear, muscle bellies, muscle fiber type, upper muscular development ceiling, ceiling after drug use, ability to recover, ability to digest food, resilience to sides/damage from gear, etc...

Genetics probably affect a lot more than we think they do, and definitely more than what we see with our eyes.
 
Genetics is a huge component. But just like in any sport, there are many people with great genetics that are lazy and never reach their potential. The great ones are the ones with the top tier genetics that train smart and intensely, are always consistent and do the proper nutrition. Then, of course, eventually, it's the gear... using it smartly in tandem with everything else.

Why is somebody like LeBron so good? Because he's the strongest, fastest player on the court? Yes, AND he's the guy with the highest B-ball IQ, who's an extremely hard worker. He's always working on improving his game. Truly amazing when you think about it... at this stage of the game, he's got nothing left to prove, but he loves his sport, loves to compete, and is constantly pushing himself. That's what it takes to be at the top of your sport, whatever it is you're competing in.
 
An under-rated component of genetics is how your body can absorb ancillaries such as GH and steroids.

We see it all the time on this sub. Joe X takes a relatively low dose of test and their BP is through the roof, instant gyno, and poor blood work.

From coaching youth football for over a decade the differences in kids is insane. Both from a musculature and athletic point of view.

One thing that always struck me was that kids who hit puberty early, 11/12 year olds, usually ended up being smaller compared to kids who hit puberty later on. Not 100% but I saw this play out numerous times.
 
Actually I think most guys are on steroids lol. Tons of guys at my gym are on steroids, I know because they tell me. I have young’s kids asking me what peptides and sarms to stack with their gear. Gear use these last 5 yrs has become extremely common place due to social media.

Funny though because even with rampant use I really don’t see many impressive physiques and rarely do I see people train with intensity anymore. It’s all about stimulus to fatigue ratio now and everyone knows heavy compound lifts cause to much darn fatigue so gotta stick to pec flys an leg extensions.

How do you know this kid isn't juicing? He could be going behind the playground and taking his anavar sublingually
 
I had already been training for nearly 2 decades when this young kid started in our gym. He was around 18 and his transformation was unbelievable. It felt like everything I saw him, he'd grown bigger. There was a time i hadn't seen him for a year or more and I had to take a second look as he was massive and in shape. He went on to become a successful pro.

I'd been around many local and national level competitors whilst growing up in the gym but this kid blew my mind.
 
The genetics to digest and absorb large amounts of foods seems to often be understated. Without food growth pretty much doesn't happen.

I’ve definitely had people ask me about peptides I wouldn’t have expected to. I think a lot of that is from the health world though. BPC157 started off in the bodybuilding world but it’s so much more mainstream now.

Had three guys ask me about SARMS because they don’t want to shut themselves down and I always discourage it
