thought i could do it myself, but i need help
Alright guys/gals, ive been dieting for about 4 weeks on a low carb diet, the first 3 weeks were no carb, then last week i added in about 50-75g per day but i cut almost all fat.
i started at about 200 at probably 13%, the thing is 4 weeks later im about 192 but i dont look any leaner. i have been doing cardio in the AM for about 25mins on an empty stomach. i also started 50mcg of t3 for the past 2 weeks, and have been on an ECA the whole time. i also started clen a few days ago, im getting really tired of eating clean and not losing bf, its making my motivation go down hill.
Any help would be appreciated, this is killing me. i just want to get down to about 9%. right now my stomach is flat and my obliques are pretty narrow so im not fat, i just wanna have my abs defined. hell most of you guys are bulking at 9% you bastards!!!!
Take care,
Todd

Don't be afraid to eat fat. When your body is in a state of depleted carbohydrates, it would much rather use fat for a fuel than protein stores. But when there is no or little dietary fat intake, it makes it really hard (almost impossible) for the body to tap into fat stores because it thinks that you're starving and will want to hold on to the fat. Being afraid to eat fat is a mainstream public fear (eat fat=get fat), and as bodybuilders, powelifters and fitness athletes, we should know better than to fear one of the greatest and most powerful nutrients. Fats regulte all sorts of hormones in the body and perform several "maintenance" functions along the way to make the body work more efficiently. Do it sensibly and you'll notice the difference. Add a few tablesppons of flax oil or Udo's choice oil to your shakes, cook with olive oil, take omega-3 & omega-6 supplements...you can also kick the T-3 up to 100-150mcg. Good luck!

I agree with the previous post. Your body is in a starvation mode and burning protein and muscle instead of fat for energy. How the heck did you function on zero carbs for all those weeks? Set your diet to a 12 weeks cycle. Don't rely too much on thermogenics or T3 or clen. They will help but your diet is what it is all about. Eat red meat and fish once a day or every other day for the fat. Flax oil to your protein shake before you go to bed is definitely a plus. 30 minutes min/45 max but raise the intensity and heart rate. Cycle your carbs to 3 days low (for me it's 80g) and spike on the fourth day (for me it's 120-150g). Cut back your sodium to minimum (use Mrs. Dash, etc...) and drink 1-2 gallons of water a day. Check out Chris Aceto's book or Slice for reference or get professional trainer/nutritionist for help. Choose one method, stick with it and stop listening to other people. Too many advice is like too many cooks...
Good luck,
Mr Florida

Flax oil with protein (preferably Ultra Size by Beverly International or a blend of fast and slow release protein, not Isolate by itself) before bedtime. The flax oil will slow down the absorbtion which slowly feed your body for the 8 hours of sleep. What you will notice is that you will not wake up starving to death. Have your complex carb no later than 5 p.m. The earlier the better so that your body will burn them off. Don't worry about dropping the fat during your carb spike day. Your diet should be low fat anyway, except for the flax oil and from the meat and fish. You may lower the protein amount by 10% on that day, if you like.
Another point, as you drop your weight whether fat or water, especially if you lower your sodium intake and drinks lots of water, your skin will be loose and will take time to shrink wrap your body. You can speed it up by getting some sun or lay in the tanning bed. Until then, concentrate on techniques for ab workout, quality not quantity. In no time, six packs!!!
Good luck,
Mr Florida

I agree with most other guy..
You should not be limiting carbs and fat, limit the carbs eat more steaks , chicken with skin on, you need to be getting your energy from somewhere. I have found the Ketogenic diet to be the best for my body but it doesn't mean it works the best for you all I can say is play around with it maybe 4 weeks at a time doing differnt things. That way you will be able to record which diet works the best and next time just go straight into that diet for a 12 week period.
have fun
