There's almost nothing physiologically that backs up this hypothesis. Stewie is a big fan of debunking this one.

I bought into it years ago and you come totally off to "clean out" the receptors. Then I ran a cycle and bridged at a stout does then another cycle. I did have to increase the dose on the second cycle but I was also significant larger and stronger "only as big as your dose" thing I guess but after over a year on non stop I never lost any size or anything as long as I didn't reduce the dose.

I was asked what my opinion was on this subject and said it was a myth and had been debunked but of course a couple people want to argue the fact.

Guys say "cleaning out receptors" like you're evicting people from low income housing

Don't think they quite understand receptor ligand interactions

ARs multiply, in response to weight training/increased muscle mass and therefore probably in response to AAS also, this was often called "AR upregulation" when it was talked about in the 90s by 'gurus' like Duchaine.

Not sure what you mean by saturation or down-regulation. I mean you become more sensitive to AAS when not using them or using lower amounts, but what you would call that technically? People are using technical terms here usually to describe a phenomenon that probably involves a very large number of factors.

Whether it's real or not I don't know

For health it's important to reduce MGS, with shorter cycles then at a least take three to six weeks on true trt levels before doing another shorter cycle

l Carnitine supposed to make aas work more potent
