to party or not to party.....

From personal experience, which is unfortunately considerable, I notice that as long as I eat like I normally would, drink plenty of water, and keep the beverages under 10, I neither get hungover nor lose muscle. It's when I don't eat normally, don't drink water, and I start losing count of my beverage consumption that I wake up feeling like a shrunken old man. Granted, this would seem obvious, but a lot of people tend to lose control, including myself, and eating/drinking water/controlling intoxication go out the window, at which point that line of coke or hit of E look all the more enticing. Thus, I prefer to stay away from drugs and alcohol altogether. But, if you're one of the fortunate who doesn't have a self-control problem, go for it.
 
i appreciate everyones input. but due to the fact that im newly injured, with this sciatic nerve shit, and am probably going to be shut down til atleast next week, im just gonna go out and have a fun time. not looking for a crazy bender. then i will be 100% focused for the following 12-13 weeks, if i decide to hang in for the NA's. i was kinda getting burned out anyway, since i have been blasting, doing cardio, and trying to diet strictly. since about 20 weeks out, so a cruise was in order anyhow.
