From personal experience, which is unfortunately considerable, I notice that as long as I eat like I normally would, drink plenty of water, and keep the beverages under 10, I neither get hungover nor lose muscle. It's when I don't eat normally, don't drink water, and I start losing count of my beverage consumption that I wake up feeling like a shrunken old man. Granted, this would seem obvious, but a lot of people tend to lose control, including myself, and eating/drinking water/controlling intoxication go out the window, at which point that line of coke or hit of E look all the more enticing. Thus, I prefer to stay away from drugs and alcohol altogether. But, if you're one of the fortunate who doesn't have a self-control problem, go for it.
