I've been considering entering a meet in April 2010. I've competed before and want to go one more time to see if I can hit some PR's, not to mention I enjoy being in the meets with all the camaraderie. Powerlifters kick ass and really help each other out which is what really makes our sport great. I’ve been out of training the last couple of months due to some health issues, but I haven’t lost much and I’m cleared to train again.
I have approximately 19 weeks to go and was thinking of 2, 9 week cycles to peak. What do you guys think? What's my best approach?
Stats:
220lbs currently but would like to go in at 198
Bench 420
Squat 600
DL 590
Any help would be appreciated.
