I need some help with a good bulking diet.. I'm about 165 I wake up at 5 in the morn. to start getting ready for work I usually have a shake about 5:30 I eat a bagel with sausage and egg about 9:00 my lunch at 12, a shake before workout at 245 a shake after my workout dinner about 7:00 and A 12 HR PROBOLIC SR before bed but I dont seem to be getting anywhere....Any suggestions

I would say your diet would be fine for a 165 lb woman trying to lose weight, but that diet wont get you anywhere if your looking to bulk up

I'm 25yrs. old 5'11'' / i have been lifting serious now for about a yr just for something to do the last 4 months I have really been hitting the weights and started making goals. I want to bulk up to about 225 then start to cut down loose some body fat but try to keep as much muscle as possible...
 
What do you eat for lunch and dinner? I think we need some more info....
 
Usually any type of meat I will either have meatloaf, hamburgers, steak, pork chops chicken with a vegtable and either rice or noodles.. I basically the same thing for lunch because I make enough to eat the next day for lunch at work....
 
Add weight slowly. Most of the things you read on "bulking" are utter bullshit that will simply make yuo fat and less healthy.

You might start by weighing and writing down everything yuo eat for two weeks. Weigh yuorself before the two weeks, and after. If, at yuor weight, yuo're within a pound or so of yuor starting weight, then this is a maintenance calorie level for yuo.

From there, yuo can beging to juggle macronutrient ratios, and gradually add calories as yuo get stronger in yuor workouts.

Great advice! I would say he has a fast metabolism like I did which I had to eat like crazy to put on good weight.

I'm 25 yrs old, 5'11'' Have been training about 1yr. I do a body part once a wk. usually 3 days on 1 off 2 days on 1 off. My goals I want to be a solid 215 for now. I would like to try and bulk up then take some sort of gear to help me ct back down but something that would help me keep most of my strength... I also need a diet if you could please help me out!!!!!

go to www.fitday.com and you can have a great, easy food / workout / mood pretty much anything log. Its free and very helpful
