The last 3 shows I went to there was a guy like the one on the right crack top 5 and take home a trophy. Not enough competitors in weight classes so they made to finals night show.

I could walked out the audience, walked up on stage and won a trophy.

Guys, i'm not sure if you know it or not, so i'll get it out there in case you are thinking it is some flake out on the stage.....that guy suffers from mental retardation.

If this was a 'normal' competitor, I can see the flames, but it's somebody just living a dream with less fortunate genetics than most of us have ourselves.

Not trying to flame anybody here, as it may not be apparent, but you may want to reassess your replies

This guy has been competing for a few years, and his family has very kindly asked other boards to give positive praise when threads like this have been posted. They've asked for our support and not crush a dream for somebody just trying to to be the best he can.

NOTE: For anybody that posts "How can anybody allow their family member or friend to go up there and embarass themself like this?"......I'm not even going to respond. Let's just show some class and show that we lead with positive reeforcement and respect

I dont think i could ever step on stage. i'd freak out with nerves big time.

I'll always be restricted to the occasional pose off in the bedroom.

I know of a couple of guys/kids that compete that have some type of problem...One kid (probably in his early 20) competes with basically one hand, he really has no use with it...He is also probably a tad slow...But, he goes up there on stage and flexes and tries as hard as anyone out there...I have seen him train and what he has to do to work both sides of his body is use straps on his left hand...He has to use alot of machine's cause he cant controlled free weights...He is actully pretty amazing...

One of my best mates has got his leg removed from the thigh downwards but posed off against dexter jackson, cormier, milos etc at the british Grand prix about 4 years ago and i can remember people there saying he was up there size wise with them. He now does boxing and is quick as fuck. And when i say quick, he had joe egan, who is Tysons old sparring partner saying that he could probably go pro in that. He has some strong ass resilience.

And i can remember Viktor Konovalov got in mad shape, better than some pro's in his day and he was wheelchair bound.

Like Chirs250 was saying these guys just adapt their training to what they need to do.

I think its all down to how much spirit you've got to be able to do what you dream of doing not what could hinder you from achieving it.

This guy is doing something constructive with his time, and obviously something he loves. He has way more balls than myself, and alot of other people to even step on that stage. Props!!
