USPS Stuck Packages??

There was a package that has been stuck at it's accepted site since Monday and is still there as of today (Wed). It is supposed to be a 2-3 day delivery. Anyone have this happen before???

Looks like you will be getting a letter soon. Do not accept the package when it hits your door. IF it is at a PO box do not touch it. I would count this one off as a loss. Same thing happened to me.

what exactly does it say and how long since it was sent.

...SUCKS ASS!! So it might not be as bad as you think. They just are slow as hell.

I agree w/Ry - probably a f-up by USPS.

Steak has a point if it's suppose to be delivered to your house. I wouldn't be as concerned about PO Box 'cause I know everyone (not personally) that works at my PO (very small PO). If I had to pickup a package that I knew was detained and new staff was at the counter, then I'd write it off.

those sobs at at usps still havnt delivered my girls valentines gift to me and it was supposed to be here last thurs. Usps honestly pisses me off sometimes.

I kinda had the thought that maybe USPS is just slow at scanning. or they opened it and found my "protein supps" and now they are setting up for a controlled delivery. Thanks bros for the input. I will def. not sign for shit!!! been there, done that!! Domestic pack too...that's what sucks!!!!

they were shipped priority. it just says package accepted at ______city, _______state. that was on monday!

anytime i have sent mail with DC# it says the same thing.. that is just where it was mailed it from... they scan teh DC# when you are at the PO and stick the otehr half of teh ticket on the package... when it reaches you it will change to your addy. USPS doesnt track from city to city with priority mail (from my expiriences).

I recently sent $500 in a birthday card to a FRIENDS PO box and it never made it. USPS tracking shows it being received at the location I mailed it from, but never being delivered. Mail man in $500 richer I think!

This subject was brought up in a recent post. You should ALWAYS send "cash" via Express Mail.

Dog--i have emailed my buddy for you...i'll know later today and try and post, but like i mentioned above i have no comp. right now. It was sent priority, so IF anyone tries to have you sign, DONT except it b/c priority does NOT need a sig. also, dont be so worried, remember its Vday soon and lots of mail going on...also, i sent a pack to a friend who only lived 4 hours away from me via prirotiy mail and it took 9 days!!! again, just to be sure, clean house and do NOT sign for anything, remember, priority does NOT require a sig.!!! i'll keep you informed

It arrived today no problems. I guess USPS doesn't scan the packs like they have before when they sent from city to city. It looked like the pack was still sitting in the send off state for three days.....kinda wigged me out. Thanx for the insight bro's!
