well said , its hard to really know somebody on these things , im not a bad guy , if you guys know BBA and many others on here who know me personally theyll tell u im a good fella with respect for everyone i meet , i guess if we ever meet youll see that , as for me and my posts well its my true thoughts , let me elaborate this is gonna be a funny example but here it goes ,, its like when my girl comes into the room and says does this outfit look good - i have 2 choices - 1 yes sweetie it looks lovely OR 2 i can give my honest opinion which sometimes she doesnt wanna hear , so i say no atually that outfit doesnt suit you very well and its trashy lmao this would be me conveying my true thoughts , NOW whether she wants to hear that or not im still gonna say it , and when she asks me why did you say that i say in return well its my honest opinion , my honesty is one of my best atributes lol.

Dang i hate agreeing with Vander lol. I hate when people blow smoke up your ass. Nobody needs a bunch of "yes men" (especially in bodybuilding). It could only hurt you. If something is wrong or looks bad or needs to be changed, wouldnt u want someone to tell you so you could change it, or would u rather going around lookin like shit with it?

I didn't want to garbage up Pete's accomplishments thread any more than it already has been trashed to death.

These type of action/comments are what makes modding here difficult. So Vander, if I think you look gay, I should say so and you will have no problem with that 'cause it's my HONEST opinion (which you have done: call another member gay-looking)?!?! Do you guys know the difference between "respectful" and "honest" - apparently not.

I try and live my live my life and mod here under "The GOLDEN RULE." Apparently Vander and TP4U do not know it or UNDERSTAND it: Do unto others as thy do unto thyself.

TP4U - I don't HAVE ANY PROBLEMS with you. But when you make a comment like you did above, it sure looks to "me" like you're kissing Vander's ass. The "emphasis" in your comment was agreeing with Vander, not agreeing with his philosophy/statement.

I didn't really want to pick on these 2 members but their responses in that post were excellent examples of "how I mod." Many comment like these (being honest and speaking my mind) are very difficult to monitor. The only reason I didn't delete Vander's post/slam against Pete is it was "borderline," he didn't really call Peter any names.

ANYONE CAN SAY their posts are just "honesty," or "just speaking my mind" and if you're so self-centered that you cannot see they hurt others, you better change your ways or not expect to last here or be succesful in life. So Vander: how long is your relationship with your GF going to last if you keep being so "honest" with her?

It is good that we all can say how we feel about a certain subject. However not good to call somone names etc.... "gay" "F-U" etc... This board is the best on the net bar none. Let us keep it that way. Let the other boards do the trash talking name calling. Like my mom alway said "if you dont have something nice, or at least constructive dont say anything at all, because you will regret it". I think sometimes it is jealousy that someone is stealing someone elses '"thunder" so to speak. Some love to be the center of attention and when someone else comes along and gets some of the attention. Wham now we got fueds. I love this place because there are a lot of Pro and top level athletes on here. I love the fact that if a question arises someone on this board has an answer. No Doubt Excell is great MOD here [ and person as well ]

My take on this is as follows . Vander is a stud ,and knows it . He is a goodlooking guy , does well for himself , and has the right perspective of the sport .His problem that he doesnt see those things as blessings and appreciate the fact that he has created an identity that carries a certain amount of responsibilty .He goes through phases here , from being an informitive contributing member , to being a passive agressive jerk off .When he is playing around he doesnt realize that his words carry impact and when they do, he just laughs it off .......I really like Vander when he is cool and helpful .[ he has written some motivational stuff and has his head on straight ] But when he is fucking around ,he is the kind of person I would would choke out and then stomp his teeth out ....lol ........He has come along way from the begining, and I think he is slowly understanding what I mean .........at least I hope

In reguards to TP4U , he is a young buck that is bright , highly motivated , and handsome as well [ he has all the tools to building a happy successful life already ]...His problem is he is searching for his answers in others, instead of realizing all his keys to success are within himself . When he finds someone he looks up to [ ala Vander ] he goes way out his way to be supportive [ kissing ass ] , in hopes they might help him find some sort of quick success or share secrets .[ pretty obvious ] . His ass kissing and cocky remarks have rubbed many here the wrong way ....But all and all he is a good kid , that just needs to be alittle more respectful and grounded ...Kid , all the answers are within you .....I promise .....

Hey look , I have my faults [ I can be defensive and too aggressive ] here , but I always try to remain respectful and positve . I actually care about many of the members here and really would be there for them in the real world [ask hardbdygrl or diezel 666][ guys like Phil , Steak , Ivan , Big A , BIg Kiwi , T muscle , JT , Diezel 666 , powerforeward , Bald Nazi , excel , mike s, rajin , lats ,hardbody girl, jerry wear , skip , DC, Homnuc .........my god alot just great folks here ] And I really do enjoy fequenting this board , it is my daily escape from a pretty hard time in my life ....I just want this place to be cool .....I think Vander and TP4u add alot to the board , it is just time they consider giving the board more of a consistant level of respect IMO . These guys need to just realize that there is a serious problem here when ........I am getting numerous pms about how I should let Vander and TP4U have it ,and how they cant stand these guys ...ect..... I think TP4U and Vander are good people, but insanely f'n dense. I have said it and so have the other members, there is a difference between honesty/ constructive criticism and being disrespectful. Once you guys grasp that these threads will cease. Gooey, BBA and a few others can vouche that I may be one of the biggest assholes you'll ever come across, however, I can treat people with respect that deserve that respect. Out of respect for this board I bite my tongue (or actually fingers, I guess) on a regular basis to keep the status quo, try it.

TP4U, you aren't as disrepsectful and confrontational as Vander is, but when you post after his posts, save your time and just type "yeah, what he said!" It will make all of our lives easier.

If a guy doesnt ask for critisism, objective or not, dont give negative
comments that would hurt the persons feelings. And if you cant figure out what that is, go back and have your Mommy teach you.

TP4U, I think you make some judgements and seem to kiss up to V a bit. And its been said around here ALOT of times so you have to acknoldge that it may be true. But you do add some nice info on a descent basis and you stand tall for that. You dont need to win anyones approval when you share good scientific BBing info. Your earning your place here and thats good enough. You dont need to kiss up to anyone, even just a little bit.

Now I ask you, dont you think that at times some people abuse the power they are given by trying to ban everyone that says something that doesnt fit into their round peg? on topic, i think tact is something that would help in some people's posts. vander seems to be a pretty good guy in a lot of his posts, and he has a great physique and a very marketable look for this business, but he tends to be a little to abrasive in some of his posts. (i enjoy 90% of vander's posts btw)

guys just need to post on this board like they would talk to people face to face in real life. a little respect goes a long way.

Sometimes times with attitudes there is a thin line between of being Confident & or being Arrogant, and with some people its really hard to decipher which they are being.

There is one PL'r where I train who is that, & rightfully so (i know he holds at least one record)...with him most people just think he is a major asshole just for the way he comes off being, but over time I have figured out with him it is him being very very confident, where other often take his comments the wrong way...

This is the debate. To someone like myself, hearing a member being told that if they cant figure it out, then go back to mommy, is taunting and childish.
