Vitargo...any good?

Has anyone used the product "Vitargo" sorry if I mispelled. I am referring to the one made by Vitrex. I have heard they make two different versions. Can they be used for contest prep?..how would one use it?...again thanks for any info. :confused:
 
I used it, like it alot The Vitargo CGL, I was told not to use while dieting..didn't ask why .. just stoped...I will def use again after summer when adding weight
 
Vitargo is great but be sure to use the Pure Vitargo. If you are doing slin and immediately consume as post slin sugary carbs, the slin becomes a non-issue.
Makes taking slin, at least Humalog which I use, an effortless process. Worth
the cost. get mine at bodybuilding.com they seem to have cheapest price.

Vitargo does sound like a good addition, but i wouldnt base my entire post workout shake around it. Since its through your system and into your blood so damn fast, and u have 100g vitargo in there, there is NO WAY your body will be able to utalize all that, maybe half. Now if you combine it with differnt fast absorption timing carbs, youl still get the inslulin spike but ul also get a better absorption rate of the carbs to replenish glycogen stores.

Im thinking along the lines of 35g Vitargo, 35g Dextrose, 35g Maltodextrine. Throw in 5-10g BCAAs, Glutamine and Creatine, then drink ur 70g Whey Isolate shake 10min later while the slin spike is still goin, BAM perfect Post Workout Recovery plan.
 
The word is that alot of top-ranked and pros are using the PURE Vitargo, not GCL Vitargo, for carb loading before contest.

You make a good point as I can tell you when I consumer it slowly (yes I also throw whey into it) over a 45 minute period, again the insulin e.g. 15ius I've
just consumed are a non-issue. However, once or twice I did down it really
fast and found I did have to cope with an insulin spike later.
