as well know the basis of HIT is hard ass ball busting sets, and its always for only a few sets per bodypart unless we are john defendis whi i really dislike after reading his current interview. n e ways we only count the sets we do to failure and not our warmups at all
well while i was looking over some old timers workouts of which many did the pyramid for like 15,12,10,8,5 or whatever the weights they used for the 15's, 12's and 10's seemed way too light to give any appreciable muscle stimulation other then blood flow, i mean they would go from a set of 10's with x amount of weight to 8's with x = 40 pounds of weight and then 5's with 80 extra pounds, i believe that they often counted what we would call our warmup sets in their training
